Our Favourite Winter Beach Dog Walks

It’s hard to believe that we have only had our Bean for four months, she has made such a difference to our lives – in all the right ways. One of the things I love the most, is that every day, rain or shine, whether I feel like it or not, she gets me outside – with her at my side, it always ends up being enjoyable!

Here are a few of our favourite winter beach walks:

1. Gylly Beach – our local, go-to beach walk. Gylly is a great spot for a quick walk and splash. Not forgetting, a great place for socialising with other pups. Conveniently, there’s also a lovely cafe right on the beach. Depending on how much time you have, and how far your little pups paws can go, Gylly is great starting place for a walk along the seafront to Pendennis Point or, heading in the other direction, towards Swanpool and Meanporth beach.

2. Carne Beach – there are so many beautiful places to visit on The Roseland, but Carne beach is definitely up there at the top of the list. Head over there for a nice morning walk, and treat yourself to lunch at the Hidden Hut! It’s just a short 15 minute drive away – you won’t be disappointed.

3. Godrevy – an all time favourite of ours. If you’re looking for miles and miles of sand, or fancy a game of hide-and-seek in the dunes, this is the place for you! Parking is easy in in the National Trust car park, and Godrevy Cafe is a must while you’re there!

  1. Love your photography! Deffo going to visit Carne beach after your recommendation – didn’t know it was near The Hidden Hut!
Out of interest, what camera and editing software do you use?

    1. You must, it’s beautiful. There’s probably a coastal walk between the two!
I just use my phone at the moment and the VSCO editing app.
